Ok, who's with me in saying that all stupid people should be taken "out back" and shot to put them...and the rest of the world out of their misery.
I had written an email to my co-workers explaining that I would not be in the clinic on Mondays due to working at an HIV drop in center in another part of Albany. I also put my new schedule, printed out on green paper so as not to be missed, in all the areas that the doctors and nurses go most often (i.e.: nurses station, charting room, etc.). So I was at the other center yesterday, all day, from 12pm-8pm. No access to computer and therefore no work email. So I get back to my regular office at the clinic today and find an email from one of the doctors, written at 7:50pm Friday night, requesting that I see one of his patients Monday morning. And the thing was, is that it was written in a reply to my email telling everyone of my new schedule so it's not like he didn't get the message.
Christ on a cracker! Did you even READ the email you just replied to....the one where I clearly stated that I would not be in on Mondays from now on, until further notice!?!?! Ugh!! Then this morning, the case manager for the patient in question asked me if I saw the patient yesterday. *head desk*
On other hand, to contradict my starting sentence. Just shoot me and put me out of my misery from having to deal with these retards! Have a super Tuesday peeps.

New Job Drama
Who ever came up with the idea of apartment hunting should be shot...repeatedly. Landlords (and ladies) should come to me, begging me to take their fabulous apartments!!
Same goes with changing all the legal/medical shite that goes along with moving to a new job. My new health insurance won't kick in for a couple months, leaving me with no coverage unless I:
#1: Choose to go with COBRA (which is looking more like a pain in the arse than anything else...and expensive...I have to basically continue what I was paying for insurance, $40 every two weeks, plus what my job was paying and I don't know how much that was but I'm pretty sure it's a substantial sum)
#2: Paying out of pocket or
#3: Getting my own private health insurance (which will probably be just as expensive as COBRA, judging by the research I have done on it). Good God, now I know why so many American's don't have health insurance...it's highway robbery!! The private insurance quotes I was getting were in the $300-400 range...for a MONTH!!! Yikes!!
Though it would suck to pay out of pocket especially if something bad happens. Lord knows that I haven't had to go to the doctor or ER in years, but I also know how Murphy's Law works. Once I choose to wing it without insurance, everything in my body will go kaput, and probably all on the same day!!
So, this is my rant for the day. But as hectic and problematic as all this stuff is, it gets my closer to my love so I am more than happy to deal with it! :)

This is just silly.
NO DANCING IN NEW YORK CITYThursday Feb 22, 2007
NEW YORK (AP) -- Should you find yourself in a bar in New York City, and the music playing makes you want to get up and dance, please resist the urge. A state court is upholding the city's Prohibition era law that bans social dancing in bars, restaurants and certain clubs.
Those who like to get up and boogie sued, arguing the 80-year-old law illegally infringes on their right of free expression. But the court says recreational dancing isn't a form of protection that's protected either by the state or U-S constitutions.
