I guess I should actually watch the news or get a newspaper once in a while to find out what the hell is going on in the world rather thang getting all my news from Fark.
But, in a breif spurt this morning, I decided to go to CNN and look at the stories and found out that stamps are going up another 2 cents!! Jeebus!! Now I know that "snail mail" is dying a slow death, but do they really need to keep raising the prices of these bloody little stamps!? What the hell is all this money going towards??
I just hate the post office in general and the constant raising of prices is not endearing them to me at all. The post office always seems to close at exactly the minute I get home from work. Don't they know that other people work during the weekdays too, typically on a 9-5 schedule??? And if they can't be bothered to be open long enough on weekdays, you'd think they'd make up for it on the weekends, right? NOOOOO!!! Only open until noon on Saturday and not open at all on Sunday! WTF!!
Don't even get me started on the fact that if you want to mail or even pick up a package, you better take the day off because you'll be in line all day and end up paying a gazillion dollars just to send something to the next state. Keeee-righst, I could rent a car and drive it there for less money!! ;)
